I wonder why certain things I prayed for did not get answered.
I wonder why certain events are allowed to happen that are so horrible.
When I think of these things, Lord, I press into your presence and you are always there.
You give your children peace that you are with us still.
You comfort us and assure us that you can be trusted even when we don't understand.
